gnosticism is the definition of Satan. It is a very sad thing when people believe this lie. It is fatal and we should keep them in our prayers. Our Music industry revolves around gnosticism and rituals and I can prove it…. but Christians please be sure to ask yourself how far down the rabbit whole u want to go. This is some pretty deep stuff and might shake your faith. Hold on tight to Lord Jesus. Now more than ever before. Pray first. it is important. It is your very existence that is at stake. The bible warms of many deceptions such as thing one. The great thing is, we have minds. We have a way to know. The bible tells us to test the spirits, and tells us how to do that.

im comming across this for the first time with a mild understanding of the bible. i find all very confusing as to what is truth and missleading and im sure im not alone. i wish for someone with a better grasp of it all to present a solid interpretation for the average human cause i believe this really important.

You are really free to believe whatever you want. I personally, and so do alot of other people in the world, would rather believe and have faith in Jesus as the bible says, and as the bible prophecies. Jesus is who He said He is. Thanks for your comments. I totally respect your views.
Well, some Gnostic sects thought he was a “false messiah”, most sects recoqnized him as “The Savior”.
My source on my comment before was Ecclesia Gnostica, a modern Gnostic sect.
Their view is that Jesus was a messenger and a savior. I can put the quote here:
” Lord Christ is one of the High Aeons of the Fullness (PLEROMA); being the articulated thought (LOGOS) of God and the expression of God’s redemptive power (SOTERIA), for which latter reason He is also called the Savior (SOTER)”

Ok, I will comment a couple of things in this video.
In the beginning of the video he says that the Gnostics turned everything upside down in the Old Testament. But the Gnostic view is that the source of the writings in it came from 3 sources, some from the good god, some from the demiurge, and some from the elders of Israel.
There were other issues as well, but the main issue which caught my eye was that in the end of the video he says that the Gnostics object of veneration is Satan. Well..

You missed the point. MAN is what fails God. Jesus Christ is what reconciled man to God. Dont judge God based on the actions of imperfect human beings. That’s just silly.

Prime example: the fertility statues. There has been so many people who have touched those and have become pregnant. Now if it is true that they are becoming pregnant by touching those statues , then that means that there is an (spiritual) enitiy behind what is going on. It is not Jesus, because people are not putting their faith in God to get pregant, but their faith in the statue. If it is not God’s spirit behind what is going on, then whoses spirit is it?
21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. ”

You see sarafices made to idols are actually to devils. We must remember that satan wants glory like God , but he(satan) is not going to present himself in his true form, he is going to try and decieve mankind into worshiping “idols” ( which are actually devils).
“18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? 19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
I think the reason why Paul said not to ea those things because sarafices offered to idols are actually sarafices to devils :
that’s right… so what is it you think these people are judging him for? Not questioning every piece of food ever set before him?
It is quite complex to read to say the least.
I will just agree to disagree.
I see him saying eat without raising a question, unless someone tells you, otherwise eat and be thankful and do not worry about it. Why judge me if I give thanks considering everything in the earth is the Lord’s.
Again, please tell me where you see paul telling people to eat food sacrificed to idols.
“According to God, if it is sacrificed to idols do not eat it.”
that is just what paul says in verse 28. Do NOT eat it, even to be polite.
According to Paul, it depends on your Spiritual level and the conscience of others. According to God, if it is sacrificed to idols do not eat it. There is no level where you reach “freedom” to eat it.
