People don't just kill people over disagreements and it's not part of human nature. We are Products of our environment/culture.

(ignorance is inherent in the abrahamic religions/superstitious world view. Example: Faith)

"without religion you'd have good people doing good things and bad people doing bad things... but for good people to do bad things it takes religion" - Steven Weinberg

Obviously this is a nature/nurture argument. I think we can both agree that most behavior is nurtured.

Good people doing good things? Bad people doing bad things? That is such an erroneous statement by Weinberg. There aren't good and bad people. There are just people. And people have a natural tendency to promote self interest. You can't disagree with that without invoking moral law, at least in logic, and that would make your world view ironically hypocritical (aka Weinberg, the idiot).

Faith is not ignorance. Ignorance is ignorance.

This is really good and accurate. You should read a great book by Ray Yungen that can be ordered anywhere, or through lighthousetrails the publsihing co. In it he talks about a lot of this same stuff, but he also teaches that a mystical experiencencial prayer that is more Eastern empty your mind meditation that many religions use. It has seeped into the church under the label "contemplative spirituality" where you connect through experience all the reigions, where in all is God and God is all.

The name of the book by Yungen is called "A Time of Departing." There is a huge a move under way to turn "christians" from the belief of the personal holy justice filled God of the bible, to a force that is in & of everything and we are all part of that. (Romans 1 the exchanged the truth of God for the worship of creation). Christian churches and books are allowing and vying for this practice and worldview. Emerging church is something to look up. Brian Mclaren ( also on youtube) so many names

Richard Foster Celebration of Disciples is a primer to teach this. So many books talking about getting closer to God through this silence ( think the opposite of biblical meditation, think of the kind of internal silence. The bible says we are to be soberminded). When we open our spirits up and empty your mind or kick it into neutra, evidently you can have false spiritual expereinces of ONEness, and conectivity with all things, and divintity. This is IN Churches.Doug Paggit, Tony Jones, Rob Bell

These people teach that we don't need the cross, that Jesus will come to all the different people and we don't have to give up your (false) religions, just unite and we can have heaven come to earth. We need to take care of (see worship) the earth. This is a set of key doctrines in the book tours and speeches done by Brain Mclaren, pastor. This is sweeping through Churches without fully understanding what this worldview means fully. Deception is at the heart of these people & books. Be aware.

Your average Christian isn't even aware these change agents are in the church. Look, at Willowcreek who have also embraced Tony Blair to come to leadership and he is one of the most well spoken for the religions to unite. Rick Warren is one the board with Blair and in his smash hit 30 + million books sold, he gives instruction to this breath prayer of repetation ( which Jesus said not to do like the pagans in prayer with vain reps) and supports this peace agenda. Only Jesus said he didn't come

to bring peace, but a sword. A sword of what? Division between truth and error, light and dark, good and evil, holy vs do what you want. So people need to be aware at what is happening with in the church with the falling away (great). There is a book that has been the New York best selling list for 57 weeks and it is called the Shack. Many christians say it has changed their perception of God. You are attacked if you question tentents and teachings from the authur in it. The purpose is to

you're right, good and bad are judgments from a perspective.

(many people have different definitions of faith)

if faith is believing without evidence, and without question, then faith IS ignorance.

Ignoring mountains of evidence to believe in an an abstraction/mental projection, IS definitely IGNORANCE not to mention arrogance. Especially when its obviously based on a book of contradictions and myths assimilated and stolen from different cultures.

Stop w/ the ignorance and do some research.
